Good food, great service, fair prices. Typical nice northern restaurant with a nice variety of foods. Tied to a decent looking bar. I live out east and rarely get out by the Duluth Zoo anymore Thanks for reminding me I'll have to go and check this out again. Especially now with the road construction to start I imagine their business will be hurt somewhat. I'd rather support local small businesses than chains any day.

The owners of the Tappa Keg Inn in West Duluth spent Saturday morning cleaning up debris after a truck slammed into the side of the building overnight. With the temperature still below zero, Dick Kelly was picking up pieces of the front of the building at Grand Ave. A truck hit the front of the restaurant and bar at about a. Kelly's wife, Sandy, was in their home upstairs in the same building at the time of the crash. Then she saw that a truck was in the building.

This place was right outside our campground and doesn't look like much. The service was great and the eggs, hash-browns, bacon, and toast were perfect. We will eat here again. Seriously, friendly folks and good eats what more could you want?
